Mentor Coaching Contract


This Mentor Coaching Contract ("Contract") is between Tandem Coaching Partners ("Tandem") and the Client,

Your coaching contract includes the following:

The Client contracts Tandem for the Mentor Coaching engagement provided by Tandem's Coach mentioned above ("Mentor"). Prepaid Mentor Coaching sessions do not expire.

Engagement Format and Payment

Engagement format is as mentioned in the order details above.

Should the Client elect to pay the contract in full, the payment is due in full before the start of the initial planning session. Should the Client elect the payment plan option, the first payment is due before the first session. Subsequent payments are due per the scheduled identified above and are charged to the client's elected method of payment automatically.

Should the Client fail to make a contractual payment, the Mentor will be under no obligation to continue to render services under this contract. The services will resume after the full missed payments are made under the conditions of this contract.

Cancellation and Refunds

The Client has the right to terminate the mentoring engagement at any time prior to the start or during the engagement for any reason.

Should the Client decide to terminate the contract before the start of the engagement, Tandem will issue full refund of the funds paid to date minus 5% administrative fee.

Should the Client decide to terminate the contract during the engagement before the 2nd (second) mentoring individual or group session and the client prepaid the engagement in full, Tandem will issue a refund in the amount of 50% (fifty) of all the funds paid. Tandem will issue no refund after the engagement start if the client chose to pay in installments.

Tandem will issue no refund after the 2nd (second) session.

Other Provisions

Sessions will commence over Zoom or other telecommunication method agreed upon by the Client and Mentor. A 24-hour cancellation notice is requested when an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled. Every effort will be made to accommodate changes.

In the event of late cancellation (less than 3 hours prior to the session) or Client “no show” for an individual session, the session will be considered complete and deducted from the number of the sessions available to the client.

Please review the following information regarding the Mentor Coaching relationship and process. 

  1. As a client, I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my physical, mental and emotional well-being during my mentor coaching calls, including my choices and decisions.
  2. I understand that “mentoring” is a Professional-Client relationship I have with my Mentor Coach that facilitates the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
  3. I understand that Mentor Coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of my life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation.  Deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching into those areas, and implement my choices is only my responsibility.
  4. I understand that my Mentor Coach adheres to the ICF code of ethics and the information discussed in our sessions will be held as confidential unless I state otherwise, in writing, except as required by law. I agree to have my name, contact information, number of coaching hours and dates of engagement with my coach recorded in the coach’s log provided to ICF for certification if requested for audit.
  5. I understand that certain topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training or consultation purposes.
  6. I understand that Mentor Coaching is a personal development practice and is not guaranteed to result in certification or advancement in certification. I understand that neither Mentor Coach nor Tandem provides such guarantees, warranties, or make any promises that the engagement will result in a certification by any certification body or authority.
  7. I understand that my Mentor Coach is a supporting role in my personal growth and development and that I am solely responsible for applying the learning from mentoring sessions and development of my own coaching competency.

By signing this document, I acknowledge that I have read and agreed to the above.
