Joanne Fourtanier

Jo is a certified professional coach (PCC) with over 20 years’ experience helping individuals, business leaders, and professionals raise their confidence, efficiency, and performance through a better understanding of themselves and others. She has over 15 years’ experience leading companies & teams, and a particular interest in authentic leadership, collective intelligence, and co-development cultures. Jo is British but has lived in France for over 20 years; she works all over the world in both English and French.
Jo has a particular interest in Emotional Intelligence and its impact (positive & negative) on well-being and performance. She brings this focus and the related skills to 4 key areas in her work: (1) business leadership & collective performance as an executive coach working with individuals & teams (2) high performance in sport where coaching is deployed alongside classic physical & mental preparation; (3) the professional development of her coaching colleagues through mentoring & supervision; (4) accompanying trauma & bereavement through specialist pro-bono coaching work.
Jo is an active member of ICF France where she participates with the certification team and runs a Focus Group on Professional Coaches in Sport. Jo has also recently set up a global network of coaches & psychologists working in sport with the aim of raising the profile of this important contribution to the high performance of athletes across the world. Jo is trained in Mindfulness and has been meditating regularly for over 10 years.
